For your first treatment (and all treatments performed at a .25mm depth) numbing cream is not necessary; although, may be used for comfort. Treatments may cause slight redness, swelling, tightness, a warm sensation, very slight peeling/flaking or temporary dryness.
Later treatments with longer needle depths may require topical numbing and can produce redness & swelling along with tiny flecks or redness for between 4 - 72 hours.
