ThermoClear RF Thermocoagulation treatments utilize both high & low radiofrquency (RF) to treat epidermal skin imperfections such as: small spider capillaries (teleangiectasia), cherry angiomas, milia, acne, skin tages, sebaceous hyperplasia fibromas, cholesterol deposits & sun spots on all skin types & tones, including higher Fitzpatrick types, aging, & thinner skins.

The advantage of using the ThermoClear device is that it ONLY treats the epidermal layers of the skin leaving the deep, dermal layer unaffected. Certain Energy Based Devices (EBDs) such as IPL, BBL, & Lasers usually penetrate the epidermis AND the dermis, which can cause temporary or in some rare cases, permanent damage. Equally important to note, devices that use a “spark” to treat the epidermis carry a higher risk of causing permanent hyperpigmenation (darkening of the skin) or hypopigmentation (lightening of the skin).

While there are many outstanding options for using laser technology to treat skin issues, ThermoClear stands apart due to its ability to create results while only treating the top layer (epidermis) of the skin. During treatment, the lower layers of the skin (dermis) are left completely untouched. The benefit of the superficial penetration used with ThermoClear is that you can enjoy incredible results without the healing time needed for laser treatments that use deeper penetration methods. In addition, superficial penetration reduces the risks for pigmentation changes that can occur when deeper layers of the skin are affected during treatment.

Treatments are quick with minimal scabbing & neglible client discomfort. Please thoroughly read through the pre-treatment & post-treatment instructions for the ThermoClear RF treatments to determine if you are a candidate for the treatment.

Consultation is required to determine candidacy, there are some benign irregularities that ThermoClear RF cannot treat. For example, any spider capillary (telangectasia) in the skin that is deep red/purple/blue in the skin is deep in the dermal layer of tissue & is untreatable with ThermoClear RF. Laser referral may be necessary.
