CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR TREATMENT:

1. Pacemaker

2. Melasma

3. Blood or bleeding disorder

4. Lupus

5. Pregnancy

6. Sunburn

7. Active/uncontrolled Herpes

8. Nickel Allergy

9. Dermatitis

10. Waxing or threading with 7 days prior to treatment

11. Any irregularity deemed suspicious or malignant by a medical professional

12. Unidentifiable lesions

13. Moles - please see your dermatologist or plastic surgeon for proper mole removal

NO ACCUTANE USAGE for at least 6 months prior to treatment.

DISCONTINUE all retinoid (retinol, Retin-A/Tretinoin) & AHA/BHA exfoliating products for at least 5-7 days prior to treatment.

AVOID sun tanning, spray tanning, or tanning beds for 2-4 weeks prior to your treatment. NO SUN TREATMETNS WILL BE CONDUCTED ON SUN BURNED SKIN

If you have a darker skin type or are prone to post inflammatory pigmentation you may need to pre-treat the area with tyrosinase inhibitors (Chloe will recommend) for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment. This depends on treatment type & area. This will vary from person to person.

AVOID any other treatments in the treatment area such as lasers, chemical peels, fillers, & microneedling for 2-4 weeks prior to treatment.

AVOID CAFFEINE (including decaf teas/coffees), ALCOHOL, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications), and/or prescripition blood thinners FOR AT LEAST 24-48 HOURS PRIOR TO TREATMENT

*Caffeine, alcohol, & non-steroidal anti inflammatory medications (Advil/Motrin (Ibuprofen), Aleve (Naproxen), Bayer (Aspirin), etc.) thin the blood & make you more sensitive to treatment/can potentially delay your healing time. If you are unable to stop any prescription medications prior to your appointment (per recommendation of your Physician), DO NOT discontinue them on your own. You can still be treated; however, this will results in the need for more treatment sessions.
